Simpler Search™ is part of the new wave of Search Engines, labeled as Niche Search Directories because a consumer's search can be narrowly focused on specific categories of interest.

During 2008, Simpler Search™ will grow to become 100 Category Specific Simpler Search™ Directories and one day soon a visit to www.SimplerSearch.com will change the way consumers Search the Web.

The idea behind Simpler Search™ is: "Just What You've Been Looking For", a guide to "Everyone and Everything You Need To Know", making searching the Internet for what you need, and who you need, as simple as possible. With the growing number of Web pages available, doing a search on Google, MSN or Yahoo will bring so many responses that it is nearly impossible to make a quick decision as to which Website will best serve your needs. Often consumers aimlessly bounce from Site to Site trying to find the specific answer to what they were searching for in the first place. This leads to frustration and abandoned searches.
  
As sophisticated as we like to think we are in navigating the Web, most people don't realize how the Search results on the major Search Engines are determined. For an example, imagine you have typed the words Home Electronics, into the Google Search Toolbar. You would receive a response with a set of listings that number over 398,000,000.

These listings include sites that contain the words “Home” (which would include articles and advertisements on Home Improvements, Homes for Sale and Home Based Businesses), or “Electronics” (which would include Scientific projects, stories about how electricity effects our lives and articles related to anything with Electricity involved) or the combined “Home Electronics” which would include everything that related to Electricity in your Home). These Search Terms are all combined and ranked by a mathematical system employing algorithmic logic. Google has led the Search Engine race and has endeavored to develop a “read your mind” approach to what you are looking for.
 
But Computers can only go so far in figuring out what you really need.  A consumer may want to know about a Home Theatre System and one would have to comb through such a mass of listings to get a Simple answer to a Simple question. How long would it take you to go through 398,000,000 listings…it takes Google just a few seconds. Simpler Search™ is designed to assist in refining the search, and giving people more time to enjoy their lives.

Simpler Search™ saves precious time and effort.  First we do our homework, and perform searches on each of the major Search Engines for the Categories we offer to you. Then, manually searching site by site, we evaluate each of the legitimate sites for their relationship to our Search phrase. If we feel the Website is truly offering the consumer a solution to their query, we approach them to appear on our site. We charge a flat fee for the company to place a link to their Web page on our site. We use those fees to help us monitor the sites for how well they continue to match the needs of our  Simpler Search™ users. Advertisers have been questioning the Pay Per Click method and its inherent Click Fraud, so a flat fee, is an assurance that regardless of how many Clicks they receive they will be paying one affordable flat rate.

When the consumer visits a Category Specific Simpler Search™ site they will find information about the topic to help them make informed decisions. We also include Articles, Testimonials, Blogs and Forums relating to each category and sub-category. You can see what others have to say on the topic and add your comments or questions. A Photo Gallery has pictures submitted by our Members and our Visitors .
